Designed to succeed!
The eagerly awaited new edition of the Plumbing Engineering Services Design Guide was launched on 18th July, at the Head Office of the Institute of Plumbing. The previous Guide, affectionately known as the plumbing industry bible, was published 14 years ago and was widely acclaimed with 10,000 copies sold. Hundreds of pre-publication orders have already been taken from the UK and around the world and it is anticipated that the demand will quickly grow into thousands.The new edition includes as much information as possible on new technologies and practices and will be invaluable to those engaged in the design, approval, and installation of plumbing engineering services. All sections of the Guide have been updated and expanded by a team of authors who gave up their time and expertise on a voluntary basis. Two new sections have been included on resource efficient design and domestic swimming pools.
Andy Watts, Chief Executive of the Institute commented: "We pay tribute to all those who have contributed. They can by justifiably proud of their efforts."
The Plumbing Engineering Services Design Guide costs £80, but is discounted to £50 for Institute members.
